St. Michael's Church, Krško - Stara vas
The church dates back to 1768. The motive for its construction is unknown. Interestingly, it stands a mere 800 meters from the parish. The church does not have a distinctive style, it is 15 meters long, 7 meters wide and 7.5 meters high. The church, presbytery, and sacristy are vaulted, behind the choir is a bell tower, which does not stand free, but its walls begin from the roof onwards. On the high altar is a free-standing statue of St. Michael on a console. On a wooden extension above the brick altar table is a wooden tabernacle with a statue of Jesus and on the Gospel side, in a small wall recess, is a statue of St. Joseph. The altar on the Epistle side with the statue of the Virgin Mary is similarly set up.
